Operating since 1837, Prater is Berlin's oldest beer garden. Shaded by chestnut trees, it seats 600+ people. Classic German beer garden food — pretzels, Bratwurst, Schnitzel. Cash only at the self-service area.

A hidden gem in a grand Charlottenburg villa. The back garden with a fountain is one of Berlin's most peaceful spots for coffee and cake. Regular literary events and readings inside.

Flea market every Sunday (10-18h) with vintage clothing, vinyl records, antiques, and handmade goods. Saturday hosts a weekly food market. Surrounded by cafes and bars on every side street.

One of the world's largest botanical gardens (43 hectares, 20,000+ plant species). The Great Tropical House is one of the biggest wooden greenhouses in the world. Magnolia blooms peak in early April.

A hidden sunken park in Neukölln, built in 1916 on a former gravel pit. Features terraced stairs, an orangery, fountains, and a small waterfall. Free gallery in the Orangerie. One of Berlin's best-kept secrets.

A community-built urban village on the Spree river. Eclectic mix of bars, food stalls, a club (Kater Blau), co-working spaces, and art installations. DIY aesthetic, relaxed vibe, great sunset views over the river.

The Hackesche Höfe are 8 interconnected Art Nouveau courtyards filled with indie shops, galleries, restaurants, and a cinema. Wander through the colourful tiled passageways. Nearby: street art in Haus Schwarzenberg.

Cold War-era NSA listening station built on a man-made hill (120m) of WWII rubble. Now an open-air street art gallery with massive murals inside the radar domes. Panoramic views of the Grunewald forest and city skyline.

Rooftop bar on the 10th floor of the 25hours Hotel at Bikini Berlin. Floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace with direct views over Berlin Zoo and Tiergarten. Best at golden hour. Arrive early for a good spot.
